Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. The position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, utilizing expertise in various dental procedures, and adhering to all regulatory standards including HIPAA compliance.Duties<ul><li>Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.</li><li>Conduct oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.</li><li>Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to diagnose oral health issues accurately.</li><li>Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.</li><li>Manage patient assessments by evaluating medical and dental histories, performing clinical examinations, and developing individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development and training.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to dentistry, and infection control practices is essential.</li><li>Prior experience with pediatric dentistry or oral surgery is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
