We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Duties
- Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize dental imaging techniques and interpret results to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Manage patient assessments by evaluating medical and dental histories, performing clinical examinations, and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development and training.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to dentistry, and infection control practices is essential.
- Prior experience with pediatric dentistry or oral surgery is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
