Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.</li><li>Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.</li><li>Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.</li><li>Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.</li><li>Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners when necessary.</li><li>Support various specialties such as Prosthodontics, Pediatric dentistry, Endodontics, and General dentistry as required.</li><li>Ensure the dental office is organized and clean, complying with health regulations.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.</li><li>Strong understanding of infection control procedures.</li><li>Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is beneficial.</li><li>Ability to perform tasks related to endodontics and prosthodontics effectively.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and education.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>401k</li><li>insurance</li><li>bonus system</li></ul>Hours<ul><li>Monday-Thursday (8:00am-5:00pm with 1 hour lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm)</li><li>Friday (8:00am-12:00pm)</li></ul>Join our team and contribute to creating positive experiences for our patients while advancing your career in the dental field!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>X-Ray Certification (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Spring Hill, TN 37174: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
