This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales ability, and passion for hospitality in a lively environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive guest services that set the tone for an enjoyable experience</li><li>Accurately take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation</li><li>Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations with precision during transactions</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest expectations are met or exceeded</li><li>Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times</li><li>Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction</li><li>Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food handling, food preparation, or other restaurant duties as needed</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous restaurant experience in a food service or hospitality setting is highly preferred</li><li>Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with high standards of service and presentation</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry is essential</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Experience with nightclubs or high-volume service environments is beneficial but not required</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences!
