No group walks, no punishment, no shortcuts.We&rsquo;re a tight-knit team of under 15, and we&rsquo;ve earned Best Dog Walkers in the Bay (48th Annual Best of the Bay Awards). Our reputation is built on consistency, compassion, and community trust.We&rsquo;re hiring a reliable, professional dog walker who takes pride in their work. No prior dog walking experience required. We provide 30 days of paid training covering animal behavior, fear-free handling, body language, and walk structure.Pay and compensation<ul><li>Training pay: $24/hr during your 30-day paid training period.</li><li>After 30 days: $24/hr base pay + pooled tips</li><li>Additional compensation throughout: mileage reimbursed at the full IRS rate ($0.76/mile parking meter reimbursement, paid travel time</li><li>Annual raises based on performance.</li></ul>ScheduleShifts Open Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 12PM (minimum availability) Monday-Friday, 10 AM-2 PM (minimum availability)Hours vary based on client scheduling and typically range from 3 to 5 hours per day.No nights, no weekends, no holidays.Time Off Attendance is important to us, so we keep time off structured and predictable for everyone. Here's how it works:<ul><li>2.5 weeks of unpaid holiday closures each year (all major holidays except Juneteenth and Veterans Day, plus a full week covering December 25)</li><li>Up to 15 Scheduled Time Off days (unpaid) per rolling 12 month period</li><li>Option to earn up to 5 additional Scheduled Time Off days through our Coverage Assist Program</li><li>Total of up to 5.5-6.5 weeks off per year</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll do each day<ul><li>Drive between 4-6+ client homes across San Francisco</li><li>Walk 1-3 dogs at a time (from the same household) for 15-60 minutes each</li><li>Practice and apply positive reinforcement on every walk</li><li>Navigate hills, city sidewalks, and uneven terrain</li><li>Log walks with GPS tracking apps</li><li>Communicate professionally with clients</li></ul>What we&rsquo;re looking forYou don&rsquo;t need a resume full of dog experience. You do need to be:<ul><li>Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
