Company OverviewJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team at SoHo Pittsburgh. Qualified candidates are responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. If you have excellent time management skills, a friendly demeanor, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, the team at SoHo Pittsburgh would love to hear from you.Duties:Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner;Take food and drink orders accurately;Serve food and beverages to guests;Provide verbal recommendations on menu items and specials;Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or requests;Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed;Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders;Properly process payments and accurately handle cash transactions;Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, as well as, the service section assigned;Requirements:At least 2 years of verifiable previous serving experience in a high volume setting is required;Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism;Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accuratelyAbility to work well within a team and communicate effectively with both colleagues and guests;Knowledge of food safety guidelines and ability to maintain cleanliness standards;Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; andPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.If you are passionate about providing exceptional service, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply to SoHo Pittsburgh.Job Type: Part-timeShift:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Evening shift</li></ul>Work Location: In personJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourWork Location: In person
