Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team at SoHo Pittsburgh. Qualified candidates are responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties:

Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner;

Take food and drink orders accurately;

Serve food and beverages to guests;

Provide verbal recommendations on menu items and specials;

Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or requests;

Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed;

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders;

Properly process payments and accurately handle cash transactions;

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, as well as, the service section assigned;

Requirements:

At least 2 years of verifiable previous serving experience in a high volume setting is required;

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism;

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;

Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately

Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with both colleagues and guests;

Knowledge of food safety guidelines and ability to maintain cleanliness standards;

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; and
