Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Manage consumers&rsquo; budgets. This includes assuring that basic needs are met (food and shelter) through timely payment of bills. Establish a budget for each individual that meets his/her needs. Ensure payment to creditors based on the individual&rsquo;s ability to pay.</li><li>Manage the computer program to ensure a daily balance of the Representative Payee Account.</li><li>Manage consumer files with current and accurate information in regards to rent verifications, release of information, and other debits.</li><li>Provide Social Security with annual (as requested) reporting of consumers&rsquo; accounts.</li><li>Provide effective communication to consumers, case managers and other service providers.</li><li>Process, collate and mail out consumer notices, checks, bus passes.</li><li>Contact Social Security and State for medical cards, maintain copies and distribute to consumers</li><li>Contact utility/telephone companies for service hookup and billing questions.</li><li>Coordinate with landlords consumer moves, leases, and follow up with rent verification forms.</li><li>Follow up on checks that have not cleared.</li></ul>Non-Essential Job Functions:Assist in agency mailings as needed.Perform all other job duties assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How do you build consumer relationships?</li><li>How do you deal with high-stress or high-pressure situations?</li><li>How do you handle challenging consumers?</li><li>What are the most important things you look for in a position?</li><li>Explain &quot;work ethic&quot; and describe yours.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
