Job Title: Remote Assistance (RA) OperatorThe Remote Assistance (RA) Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring autonomous vehicles and making real-time decisions to ensure safety and smooth operations. This role is critical in supporting driverless vehicle operations without an onboard safety driver.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor assigned vehicles using Remote Command (RC) tools and live camera feeds</li><li>Take quick and accurate decisions during unexpected situations</li><li>Intervene remotely when required using system tools</li><li>Record all actions, observations, and incidents in real-time (Notion/Google Sheets)</li><li>Conduct post-trip analysis and report any issues or anomalies</li><li>Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions</li><li>Maintain and update edge-case knowledge base</li><li>Track and report operational performance metrics</li><li>Ensure proper shift handover by sharing key updates with the next shift</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in technical support, dispatch, or operations (IT, transport, etc.)</li><li>Strong decision-making ability under pressure</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation</li><li>Basic understanding of autonomous vehicle systems OR willingness to learn</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Prior experience in video gaming or similar real-time monitoring roles</li><li>Experience as an RA Operator or similar role</li><li>Familiarity with tools like geolocation systems or RC interfaces</li><li>Basic knowledge of perception and planning in autonomous systems</li><li>Experience in log analysis or handling event-based data</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Work from office</li></ul>Pay: $23.83 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 30.0 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you a US citizen/ GC holder?</li><li>Are you able to work on-site at the Austin, TX office?</li></ul><ul><li>Are you available to work both AM and PM shifts (6:00 am - 2:00 pm; 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm)?</li><li>Are you available to work weekends?</li></ul><ul><li>Can you join immediately?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
