Remote Assistant Operator

Job Title: Remote Assistance (RA) Operator

The Remote Assistance (RA) Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring autonomous vehicles and making real-time decisions to ensure safety and smooth operations. This role is critical in supporting driverless vehicle operations without an onboard safety driver.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned vehicles using Remote Command (RC) tools and live camera feeds
• Take quick and accurate decisions during unexpected situations
• Intervene remotely when required using system tools
• Record all actions, observations, and incidents in real-time (Notion/Google Sheets)
• Conduct post-trip analysis and report any issues or anomalies
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions
• Maintain and update edge-case knowledge base
• Track and report operational performance metrics
• Ensure proper shift handover by sharing key updates with the next shift

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in technical support, dispatch, or operations (IT, transport, etc.)
• Strong decision-making ability under pressure
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Basic understanding of autonomous vehicle systems OR willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in video gaming or similar real-time monitoring roles
• Experience as an RA Operator or similar role
• Familiarity with tools like geolocation systems or RC interfaces
• Basic knowledge of perception and planning in autonomous systems
• Experience in log analysis or handling event-based data

Working Conditions

• Work from office

Pay: $23.83 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
