The Business Systems Team are responsible for the design, delivery, and management of these key business applications. In support we work in conjunction with an ever-increasing number of Vendors, Partners, and Softcat Stakeholders. 


About the Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will provide technical leadership in building and evolving a scalable, reliable test automation capability. You will take ownership of automation strategy, frameworks, and quality practices across the delivery lifecycle, working closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality from design through to production. 


You will be expected to influence engineering standards, mentor others, and ensure automated testing delivers fast, meaningful feedback aligned to business risk. This role is suited to someone who is has solid experience of owning and driving automation quality at a system level
As Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Own and evolve the automation framework and processes ensuring appropriate coverage across UI, API, integration, and regression layers</li>
<li>Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks from the ground up, focusing on reusability, maintainability, and performance</li>
<li>Act as a technical authority for test automation, setting standards, patterns, and best practices</li>
<li>Partner with developers to embed quality early, contributing to acceptance criteria, testability, and design discussions</li>
<li>Lead automation planning through risk-based analysis, ensuring effort is focused where it matters most</li></ul> 


We'd love you to have
<ul>
<li>Strong experience as a Senior Test Automation Engineer or equivalent role</li>
<li>Strong programming skills in languages like Python, C#, or JavaScript for creating test scripts</li>
<li>Proven experience designing, building and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up</li>
<li>Thorough hands‑on knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and test runners/frameworks</li>
<li>Strong experience testing APIs and services using tools and libraries (e.g. REST clients, contract testing, Postman)</li></ul>

As Sales Development Programme Coordintor, you'll be responsible for:
<ul>
<li> Co-ordination of probation presentations, progression interviews and other events required for the programmes</li>
<li> Data input and analysis where required</li>
<li>Supporting with running sales incentives including sharing leaderboards</li>
<li>Support joiners, movers, leavers process on a quarterly basis</li>
<li> Collating, analysing and presenting back of feedback using quarterly pulse surveys</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining rotas</li>
<li>Create minutes and follow ups for leadership team meetings</li>
<li>Creating PowerPoint slides for end of quarter meeting and other ad-hoc meetings</li></ul>

<li> Excellent communication skills</li>
<li> Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across multiple locations and departments</li>
<li> Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel</li>

<li> Superb attention to detail</li>
<li> Ability to co-ordinate diaries efficiently</li>

 As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.

You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to design, implement, and execute automated test scripts. Your expertise in test automation tools and frameworks will be crucial in establishing a robust and efficient testing process. 


As QA Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate test automation frameworks and tools</li>
<li>Collaborate with the squad to understand software requirements and design test cases for automated testing</li>
<li>Participate in test planning sessions to help define the overall testing strategy, approach, and scope</li>
<li>Identify test scenarios suitable for automation, based on risk analysis and business priorities</li>
<li>Contribute to the selection and evaluation of appropriate test automation tools and technologies</li></ul> 


We'd love you to have

<li>Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role</li>
<li>Test Automation programming skills in languages like C#, or JavaScript for creating test scripts</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cucumber</li>
<li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices</li></ul>

As a People Services Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our team, supporting employees and managers with day to day queries and processes. You'll focus on getting the detail right, providing clear and helpful support, and building your knowledge of People Services in a collaborative and supportive environment. 


What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Supporting key People Services processes such as joiners, leavers, absences and employment changes</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate employee data across HR systems, ensuring records and documentation are handled with care</li>
<li>Responding to employee and manager queries through our helpdesk, providing clear and helpful guidance</li>
<li>Supporting benefits and Travel and Expenses administration, including routine queries and updates</li>
<li>Managing your workload effectively and working closely with colleagues across People, Payroll and Reward</li></ul> 


What we're looking for
<ul>
<li>Experience in an HR administration or People Services role</li>
<li>An understanding of employee lifecycle processes and a willingness to learn</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data</li>
<li>Clear and approachable communication skills with a real focus on helping people</li>
<li>Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise your work</li></ul>
