OverviewWe are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing personal injury law firm. As a key member of our team, you will assist in all phases of case development, from intake through trial preparation.The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing high-volume personal injury litigation, drafting legal documents, handling discovery, trial preparation, and maintaining client communication. This position requires a proactive, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about client advocacy.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Propound and respond to written discovery (Form Interrogatories, Special Interrogatories, RFPs, RFAs)</li><li>Draft settlement demands and correspondence to insurance carriers and opposing counsel</li><li>Draft litigation pleadings, motions, and oppositions</li><li>Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, and other court-related materials</li><li>File court documents in compliance with California court rules, including e-filing procedures</li><li>Review and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses</li><li>Assist in deposition scheduling, trial logistics, and witness coordination</li><li>Maintain organized case files and track court deadlines and hearing dates</li><li>Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court staff</li><li>Support attorneys in trial preparation and day-to-day litigation tasks</li><li>Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in personal injury litigation</li><li>2+ years litigation experience handling discovery, motions, and trial prep</li><li>Strong knowledge of California state court rules and filing procedures</li><li>Excellent legal writing, communication, and proofreading skills</li><li>Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management</li><li>Proficient in legal research and case management software (e.g., Dropbox or similar platforms)</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team</li><li>Fluent Spanish-speaking/writing is a strong plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Paralegal: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
