Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring guests enjoy top-tier service.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.</li><li>Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders swiftly and correctly, managing cash handling and sales transactions with precision.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.</li><li>Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.</li><li>Manage multiple responsibilities including serving drinks at busy nights or events like banquets or catering functions while practicing excellent time management.</li><li>Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service regulations; intervene when necessary.</li><li>Restock bar supplies as needed, track inventory levels, and assist with basic math calculations for cashing out customers accurately.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or large events.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without sacrificing quality of service.</li><li>Experience in food service environments, especially within the food industry or retail math applications related to sales transactions.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and inventory management accurately.</li><li>Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, catering, or banquet work is preferred; nightclub or brewing experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction.
