Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders swiftly and correctly, managing cash handling and sales transactions with precision.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
• Manage multiple responsibilities including serving drinks at busy nights or events like banquets or catering functions while practicing excellent time management.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service regulations; intervene when necessary.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, track inventory levels, and assist with basic math calculations for cashing out customers accurately.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or large events.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without sacrificing quality of service.
• Experience in food service environments, especially within the food industry or retail math applications related to sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and inventory management accurately.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, catering, or banquet work is preferred; nightclub or brewing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction.
