At Soho House, the Bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, serving food and providing excellent service accompanied by memorable experiences to all guests and members who visit a Soho House &amp; Co. property. As a Bartender you are an extension of the brand, management team and global food and drink program. As a result, you will be responsible for professional behavior, charismatic and positive energy to create a fun environment that drives conversation and sales.

A successful Bartender will greet customers, learn and remember their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a Soho House Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable with a thirst for all things craft cocktails!

Main Duties
<ul>
<li>Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized section as well as collaborate with other bartenders to; wash glassware and utensils after each use, Clean up after customers and clean work area</li>
<li>Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings</li>
<li>Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote additional sales through creating optimal experience for dining</li>
<li>Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register</li>
<li>Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products as well as determine when a customer has had too much alcohol</li>
<li>Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and can increase overall sales and member / guest experience</li>
<li>Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment of items to Barbacks</li>
<li>Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program and consistent experience</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Qualifications
<ul>
<li>2+ years' experience working in high-volume F&amp;B operation</li>
<li>Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced perishable items</li>
<li>Experience making coffee drinks a plus</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency</li>
<li>Strong communication and people skills</li>
<li>Flexible schedule and reliable</li>
<li>Tips certified</li>
<li>Micros a plus</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li>
<li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.</li>
<li>Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.</li>
<li>Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.</li>

Seasonal Bartender - Dumbo House

<div>As Operations Coordinator, you will provide professional, proactive, and confidential support to the Managing Director &ndash; The Americas, Senior Manager &ndash; Operations &amp; Strategy, and the wider team. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders across the globe, you will become a trusted and integral member of the executive team.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that sits at the heart of our Americas operations, requiring a highly organised individual who thrives in a high-touch, hospitality-driven environment. From managing executive schedules and coordinating global meetings to overseeing travel, expenses, and cross-functional projects, no two days will look the same. With a strong hospitality background and a flexible, hands-on approach, you will act as a partner to senior leadership &mdash; building relationships across teams, supporting key events and new openings, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Meeting Coordination&mdash; Maintain and manage executive schedules, arranging internal and external meetings on a local and global level across different time zones, including conference and virtual calls. Responsible for planning, research, and preparation of documents in advance of meetings.</li>
<li>Events&mdash; Organize and take responsibility for listening sessions and offsite meetings/conferences for the Americas team.</li>
<li>Projects&mdash; Support c-suite and company directors on various projects relating to people and finance, tracking deliverables against agreed deadlines and driving projects from inception to completion, working across teams to deliver results.</li>
<li>Travel &amp; Expenses&mdash;Organize all domestic and international travel arrangements for the MD, including visa requirements, and manage end-to-end expense submissions, including reviewing, approving, and ensuring timely reimbursement across the Americas region in accordance with company policies.</li>
<li>People Support &mdash; Review and approve PTO requests and manage relevant approvals and forms on behalf of the MD.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Management&mdash; Build and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders both locally and globally.</li>
<li>Taskforce &amp; Support&mdash; Support new openings and taskforce requirements as needed.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work occasional weekends, public holidays, and offsite events is required.</li>
<li>Previous hospitality management experience is essential, with the ability to support offsite events in any capacity from line level to management.</li>

Operations Coordinator

Popular Persian spot Berenjak has been a need-to-visit restaurant since it opened its two London locations back in 2018. Soho House members have been enjoying its authentic Iranian menu at the Little Berenjak residency at Soho Farmhouse and Dumbo House in New York. 
 
Now, the team is setting up shop in Chicago, with the arrival of Berenjak at Soho House Chicago. The restaurant will allow members to experience founder and chef Kian Samyani's signature dishes. Inspired by Tehran's hole-in-the-wall kebab houses, they shine a light on seasonal, locally sourced produce and are designed for sharing. 

At Soho House a Senior Food &amp; Beverage Manager is responsible for managing service, quality control and consistent F&amp;B experience is executed under the direction of the General Manager. The F&amp;B Manager owns daily / weekly / monthly delivery on special projects and ensuring optimal member, guest and staff experience is executed. As a Food and Beverage Manager you will develop as a leader in the hospitality industry through exceptional leadership, P&amp;L review, forecasting, interviewing / hiring specific areas of the business, inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships and ensuring the business is optimized to its highest standards. staff and finance.

A successful Food and Beverage Manager will maximize sales and revenue through building relationships with customer understanding and implementing opportunities that drive efficiency and effective process. The F&amp;B Manager will be largely responsible for service standards, elevating member/guest experience, hiring, training and oversight of F&amp;B staff scheduling.

Main Duties&hellip;

<li>Influential leader who proactively manages the operations in conjunction with General Manager to ensure service, staffing and member/guest experience is above par and profit meets targeted budgets</li>
<li>Passionate about guest service and articulate in communicating with and interacting with members, guests, staff to preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service</li>
<li>Partner with internal and external stake holders to create, design, train and implement exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements</li>

<li>Engage and comply to HR (People &amp; Development) guidelines and support recruitment efforts to ensure we are attracting, retaining and training all new hires to be high performers with high potential</li>
<li>Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies and procedures</li>
<li>Drive transparency and open channel of communication that fosters team awareness, ownership and accountability with emphasis in motivation and teamwork</li>
<li>Comply with all allergy procedures and maintaining a clean, sanitary, healthy and safe work environment for staff, members, guests and safety regulations</li>
<li>Responsible for weekly/daily recaps that entail various aspects of the shift including but not limited to; service standards, allergy procedure, staffing, sales, profit and proactive solutions to mitigate future risk</li>

Required Skills/Qualifications:

<li>Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar capacity</li>
<li>Detail oriented, process driven and ability to problem solve in high-volume and demanding fast-paced environments</li>
<li>POS (or alternative), Open Table, Opera or other Hospitality driven technologies experience</li>
<li>Passionate and influential leader who positively communicates cross-functionally and leads a team to drive efficient and effective best practices through service</li>
<li>Passionate about food and beverages trends and best practices and local health &amp; safety compliancy regulations</li>
<li>Ability to manage personnel and meet / exceed financial targets</li>
