Company HistorySol Case Management&rsquo;s purpose: to improve the quality of life our communities through education, personal and professional mentoring, and vocational support.Sol Case Management offers:<ul><li>Vocational support services, including vocational rehabilitation counseling, vocational case management, mentoring in vocational interest and goals.</li><li>Family support services, including family counseling, case management, psychological testing.</li></ul>Sol Case Management has collaborated with school districts and various DSHS branches, as well as other private organizations to provide services in the Mid-Columbia Basin, the Yakima Valley, and as far away as King County.Job Description Bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/InternSol Case Management is seeking a qualified Bilingual Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/Intern to assist return-to-work efforts for workers who have sustained an injury on the job. Candidates must have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree and a valid driver&rsquo;s license.<ul><li>Review referral information to determine appropriate vocational rehabilitation services to assist clients in returning to work.</li><li>Evaluate clients to determine eligibility and need for vocational rehabilitation services; develop and implement individualized vocational plans. Review medical, vocational, psychological, and other relevant records.</li><li>Coordinate vocational rehabilitation services with medical providers, referral sources, family members, employers, and other relevant parties.</li><li>Apply knowledge of Washington State, federal, and company policies related to return-to-work services to effectively advocate for clients.</li><li>Meet with clients to gather relevant history and identify potential psychosocial barriers impacting return-to-work outcomes.</li><li>Provide vocational counseling and advocacy to help clients identify realistic and achievable employment goals.</li><li>Assist clients in accessing appropriate community resources to reduce or eliminate barriers to employment.</li><li>Administer vocational assessments to evaluate academic levels, aptitudes, and vocational interests.</li><li>Support clients with job placement services to obtain gainful employment.</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly reports, or as requested by the customer.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including case notes and coding, to justify services provided and track case progress.</li><li>Monitor vocational rehabilitation services and medical treatment progress to support timely return-to-work outcomes.</li><li>Travel to meet with clients, medical providers, employers, etc.</li></ul>Desired Skills:&middot; Bilingual, biliterate Spanish/English.&middot; Ability to work with people of varying ethnic and cultural diversity, socioeconomic backgrounds, and disabilities.&middot; Empathetic and approachable demeanor.&middot; Collaborative team player.&middot; Strong relationship-building abilities.&middot; Proficiency in drafting professional, accurate, and audience-appropriate communications.Pay: From $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Pasco, WA 99301 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
