This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement within a lively caf&eacute; environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair</li><li>Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments confidently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas</li><li>Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math calculations</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly</li><li>Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance</li><li>Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed to support efficient service</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred</li><li>Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus</li><li>Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude</li><li>Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where great coffee meets exceptional service!
