Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care to children and their families. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.</li><li>Conduct thorough assessments, including vital signs and triage, to determine the health status of patients.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including catheterization and emergency medicine procedures when necessary.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans.</li><li>Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li><li>Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across various services.</li><li>Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and CT scans as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in the state of practice.</li><li>Previous experience in pediatrics or related field preferred.</li><li>Strong clinical skills in patient care, including knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques.</li><li>Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately.</li><li>Proficient in triage processes and emergency medicine protocols.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric nursing.</li></ul>Join our team and make a difference in the lives of children by providing high-quality nursing care that meets their unique needs!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent, TemporaryPay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Work Location: In person
