Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their aesthetic appeal, and ensure durability through precise craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a passion for quality work.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion.</li><li>Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.</li><li>Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine specifications and project scope.</li><li>Perform surface preparation tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall finishing.</li><li>Execute renovation projects involving trim carpentry, fixture installation, framing, and restoration work to meet client specifications.</li><li>Use construction estimating skills to assess materials needed and ensure efficient project completion on time.</li><li>Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment and adhering to protocols during tasks such as welding or working at heights.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience with residential and commercial painting projects across various construction sites.</li><li>Proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Strong knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes that match design requirements.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.</li><li>Skilled in surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry finishing, and drywall repair.</li><li>Familiarity with renovation processes such as remodeling or restoration projects involving carpentry or masonry work.</li><li>Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material quantities accurately.</li><li>Experience with construction estimating to plan projects efficiently while managing costs.</li><li>Knowledge of industrial painting techniques including airless spray systems and maintenance of painting equipment.</li><li>Additional handyman skills such as fixture installation or concrete finishing are a plus.
