Sound Advisory Services provides high-quality concurrent and secondary case reviews and advisory services to hospital partners nationwide. Our unique approach includes both remote advisory services and the option for an onsite medical director of advisory services.

About the Role:

The Clinical Support Manager is responsible for creating, driving and supporting new workflow and processes &ndash; clinical and technological &ndash; for clients and Sound physician advisors as part of Sound ASSURE. When on shift, this individual will serve as the business leader and point-of-contact for clients and physicians.

The Details:
Candidates located in and/or able to work in Central or Eastern time zone preferred.

Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Friday &ndash; Sunday: 7:00am to 5pm</li>
<li>Admin Day Thursday: 8am to 1pm.</li>
<li>Schedule can fluctuate as staffing requires, and may become 10-hour shift</li>
<li>Will be in holiday rotation. Rotation is scheduled &gt;1 year in advance for planning purposes</li></ul> 


In this role, you will be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Continually evaluating processes, tools (Sound Connect, Advisor Connect, and client EMR&rsquo;s), and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Serving as a point of contact for physician advisors and clients (e.g., issues related to clinical processes and triage for other potential issues related to physician advisor case review or hospitalist teams)</li>
<li>Triaging case review requests to determine which cases need be sent for secondary review by the physician advisors</li>
<li>Independently maintaining EMR Accesses and communicating to appropriate team members for support when issues arise</li>
<li>Preparing PDF extracts of key components of the EMR needed for physician advisor case review</li>
<li>Resolving issues preventing physician advisors from completing cases such as missing information, questions for case managers or hospital partner physicians, EMR access issues, etc.</li>
<li>Monitoring and triaging case requests to ensure target case completion deadlines are achieved</li>
<li>Assisting Clinical Support Manager when needed to supply data for analysis in order to prepare reports for Senior Leadership Team</li>
<li>Facilitating and completing workflows for all potential opportunities related, but not limited to, observation and short stay patient</li>
<li>Reviewing hospitalist patient lists for observation and short stay cases</li>
<li>Reviewing patient medical record for needed information</li>
<li>Creating cases in internal software</li>
<li>Communicating with Hospitalist Team of any status changes that need to be made</li>
<li>Documenting all steps in internal software</li>
<li>Assisting in creating, coordinating and standardizing communication efforts between Sound hospitalist and Sound Physician Advisors as necessary</li>
<li>General office work (data entry, forms, etc.)</li>
<li>Completing additional special projects as assigned</li>

Experience:

<li>3+ years of experience in case management in emergency or acute care setting</li>
<li>Strong clinical knowledge and experience in the Acute Care Hospital setting (Critical Care, Emergency Department, and/or Case Management experience is helpful)</li>
<li>Ability to assess patient&rsquo;s clinical status for admissions, observation or discharge</li>

Salary Range
<ul>
<li>This position offers an annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, as well as a bonus opportunity outside of base pay. Exact salary will depend on the candidate&rsquo;s experience, education and geographic location.</li></ul>
