WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
 As Sales Support you’ll be part of our Centralized Customer Operations Team, providing top-level support to key customer accounts. You’ll play a vital role in delivering excellent service by managing orders, resolving issues, and building relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal partners.
 
In this role, you will: 
<ul>
<li>Manage key customer accounts and support sales associates to ensure accurate order placement and timely follow-up.</li>
<li>Oversee the full order process cycle, including freight and logistics, while resolving exceptions such as credit holds or inventory availability.</li>
<li>Partner cross-functionally with Credit, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain, and Branch Managers to provide complete solutions.</li>
<li>Communicate with customers via phone and email, with future opportunities to use text and web chat.</li>
<li>Handle customer service activities including returns, invoicing, billing, backorders, and claims.</li>
<li>Support digital onboarding for customers onto our B2B platform.</li>
<li>Execute outbound calls for promotions or special projects.</li>
<li>Develop strong knowledge of SouthernCarlson’s product offerings and share solutions with customers.</li>
<li>Look for ways to streamline processes and improve customer experience.</li>

<li>Know the Tools – Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office is preferred; knowledge of construction tools, fasteners, or accessories is a bonus.</li>
<li>Meet the Physical Demands – You’re able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.</li>
