This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and retail sales within a fast-paced, fun setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS</li><li>Process cash and card transactions efficiently</li><li>Prepare and serve food items, ensuring proper handling and food safety standards are upheld</li><li>Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and managing sanitation protocols</li><li>Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings effectively</li><li>Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with basic food preparation when needed</li><li>Manage customer orders through food service customer order management systems, ensuring timely delivery</li><li>Support retail sales transactions for merchandise or packaged food items as required</li><li>Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout all areas of the restaurant or caf&eacute;</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in casual dining is highly preferred</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS is a plus</li><li>Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety management practices</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently</li><li>Proven ability in customer service, with a friendly, energetic attitude</li><li>Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations</li><li>Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a culinary environment is advantageous</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Food industry experience including serving, bussing, sanitation, and cashiering roles enhances your fit for this position</li></ul>Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
