Job description:Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Warehouse Responsibilities:<ul><li>Receive and inspect items. Verify no damage to incoming or outgoing products</li><li>Keep the warehouse and yard organized and tidy and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.</li><li>Complete documentation and work in a timely manner.</li><li>Route items to various departments.</li><li>Repackage and check items for delivery to customer worksite</li><li>Maintain and audit inventory</li><li>Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies as they arise</li><li>Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner</li><li>Run errands (pick up parts/items) as needed.</li><li>Ability to interact with internal and external truck drivers and internal forklift operators</li><li>Ability to identify fasteners</li><li>Ability to work in outside weather in sometimes unfavorable conditions when required</li><li>Additional duties as may be assigned</li><li>Maintain inventoried items and re-order based on quantity/job flow.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous warehouse experience with shipping and or receiving.</li><li>Experience with multi-state shipping logistics for large cargo and equipment is a plus</li><li>Ability to work under deadline pressure and adjust to changing</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift.</li><li>Strong organization skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
