SHIPPING AND RECIEVING CLERK

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect items. Verify no damage to incoming or outgoing products
• Keep the warehouse and yard organized and tidy and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.
• Complete documentation and work in a timely manner.
• Route items to various departments.
• Repackage and check items for delivery to customer worksite
• Maintain and audit inventory
• Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies as they arise
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner
• Run errands (pick up parts/items) as needed.
• Ability to interact with internal and external truck drivers and internal forklift operators
• Ability to identify fasteners
• Ability to work in outside weather in sometimes unfavorable conditions when required
• Additional duties as may be assigned
• Maintain inventoried items and re-order based on quantity/job flow.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience with shipping and or receiving.
• Experience with multi-state shipping logistics for large cargo and equipment is a plus
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and adjust to changing
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Strong organization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
