LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE FOREMAN JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPLE FUNCTION OF MAINTENANCE FOREMAN:To perform maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.Oversee and work along side crew members to ensure quality groundskeepingTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform scheduled maintenance as directed by Maintenance ManagerNotifies Maintenance Manager of shortages of materials to complete jobOperate at all times in the safest possible mannerInsures company policies are maintained and enforcedProduce the highest quality work in the most efficient manner possiblePerforms and directs mowing, fertilization, pruning, cleaning, and other maintenance duties in as skilled a manner as possible.Reports accurately assigned tasks as completed to Maintenance Manager by completion of a daily work reportMaintain equipment in the best operating conditionQUALITIES REQUIRED:MUST HAVE VALID NC DRIVERS LICENSE AND EXPERIENCE DRIVING A BOX TRUCKShows leadership, dedication, and high level of pride in work producedAccepts direction, constructive criticism and suggestionsCommunicates well with other crew members and other employeesExercises judgment when making decisionsAspires to achieve good maintenance knowledge of horticultural practicesProfessional and neat appearanceOperates as a team playerSCOPE: MAINTENANCE FOREMAN reports directly to the Maintenance Manager taking direction and completing assigned tasks.QUALIFICATIONS:Has experience in Groundskeeping and leadership.
