What You'll Do</b></h2><p>
✨ Conduct mental health screenings and assessments<br>
✨ Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention services<br>
✨ Develop and maintain treatment plans and behavioral health documentation<br>
✨ Collaborate with medical, nursing, and correctional staff regarding patient care needs<br>
✨ Facilitate referrals and coordinate continuity of care when appropriate<br>
✨ Monitor patient progress and provide recommendations for treatment interventions<br>
✨ Maintain compliance with facility, state, and company policies and procedures</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h2><p>
✔ Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field preferred<br>
✔ Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred (LMSW, LICSW, LPC, ALC, or comparable credentials)<br>
✔ Experience in mental health, counseling, case management, or behavioral health services<br>
✔ Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills<br>
✔ Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team<br>
✔ Correctional, community mental health, substance abuse, or crisis intervention experience is a plus</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Southern Health Partners is currently seeking a licensed <b>Medical Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician)</b> to provide clinical services and oversight at the <b>Elbert County Jail in Georgia</b>. This role offers the opportunity to remain active in patient care while collaborating with an experienced on-site nursing team in a structured correctional healthcare environment.</p><p>
With only a couple of hours required each week, this position is ideal for a provider who wants to stay connected to clinical practice, supplement their current work, or share their expertise in a flexible setting that truly benefits the local community.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Position Details</b></h3><p>
Location: Elbert County Jail &ndash; Georgia<br>
Schedule: Approximately 2 Hours Per Week<br>
Flexible Scheduling Available<br>
Role: Medical Provider (NP, PA, or MD)</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><p>
Conduct routine on-site visits to assess, diagnose, and treat patients</p><p>
Provide medical oversight and clinical guidance to the nursing staff</p><p>
Review and approve medical records, treatment plans, and provider orders</p><p>
Prescribe medications and coordinate outside care or specialty referrals when needed</p><p>
Promote quality healthcare delivery in accordance with established clinical guidelines</p><p>
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional medical standards</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><p>
Active MD, PA, or NP license in the state of Georgia</p><p>
Nurse Practitioners must maintain a collaborating physician relationship if required by state regulations</p><p>
Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, or correctional healthcare preferred</p><p>
Ability to successfully pass a background check and obtain facility security clearance</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
