Job SummarySouthern Printing is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to run our commercial multi-head Tajima embroidery machine in a fast-paced production environment.We produce apparel for businesses, schools, teams, and organizations across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and our embroidery department plays a critical role in delivering high-quality finished products to our customers.The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple jobs while maintaining consistent quality.Prior embroidery experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong production and organizational skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate commercial multi-head Tajima embroidery machine</li><li>Hoop garments accurately and consistently</li><li>Prepare garments and backing for embroidery runs</li><li>Monitor machine during production and troubleshoot thread breaks or minor issues</li><li>Trim finished garments and ensure quality control</li><li>Maintain organized workflow for embroidery jobs</li><li>Communicate with production team regarding job priorities and deadlines</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area around the embroidery equipment</li><li>Assist with other light production tasks when embroidery runs are complete</li></ul>QualificationsPreferred:<ul><li>Experience operating commercial embroidery machines (Tajima, Barudan, SWF, etc.)</li></ul>OR<ul><li>Experience in manufacturing, production, printing, or textile work</li></ul>Required qualities:<ul><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment</li><li>Mechanically inclined and comfortable with equipment</li><li>Reliable attendance and strong work ethic</li><li>Able to stand for extended periods and lift boxes of garments</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li></ul>Additional benefits may include:<ul><li>consistent full-time hours</li><li>health insurance</li><li>paid time off</li><li>flexible hours</li></ul>About Southern PrintingSouthern Printing has served the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1972 and provides a wide range of services including:<ul><li>screen printing</li><li>embroidery</li><li>business printing</li><li>signs and vinyl graphics</li><li>promotional products</li></ul>We take pride in delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service to our community.Our shop environment is fast-paced but team-oriented, and we are committed to building a workplace where employees can grow and succeed.Who Will Succeed in This RoleThe best candidate will be someone who:<ul><li>enjoys production work</li><li>stays organized under pressure</li><li>takes pride in doing things correctly</li><li>works efficiently without sacrificing quality</li></ul>If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that produces high-quality products every day, we would love to hear from you.Pay: $33,280.00 - $42,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
