Southern Rut Performance is a local CNC Fabrication, Refinishing &amp; Motorsports Service facility located in Dahlonega, GA - Our doors have been open since February of 2025, are a small business and are looking to add a new member to our team!As a whole, we specialize and serve our community in the following areas:<ul><li>Welding (Repair Work, Custom &quot;One-off&quot; Projects &amp; Manufacturing Based projects)</li><li>Custom Fabrication &amp; Manufacturing (Designing &amp; Assembling Parts, Brackets, Adapters, etc)</li><li>CNC Plasma &amp; Computer Aided-Design (Custom Signage, Custom Parts, etc)</li><li>Sand-Blasting &amp; Powder-Coating (Aluminum, Steel, Magnesium, etc)</li><li>Motorsports Service, Repair &amp; Customization (Aftermarket / Independent Based)</li></ul>The role we are looking to fill is for our &quot;Refinish Technician &amp; Assistant Fabricator&quot;.The daily duties and responsibilities for this role are:<ul><li>Perform Sand-Blasting and Powder-Coating on any pieces / parts that come in for refinishing</li><li>Assist Lead Fabricator with performing any miscellaneous tasks within work-related projects (grinding, buffing, drilling, measuring &amp; marking, cutting, lifting metals, etc)</li><li>Help identify potential resolutions to welding, manufacturing or CNC challenges &amp; relay to Lead Fabricator (as necessary by project)</li><li>Assist with keeping Manufacturing Area(s) and Tooling clean / freshly stocked when not in use</li><li>Assist Lead Fabricator with generating supplies lists for projects, estimating labor hours to perform certain tasks within projects, relaying project or task-based challenges to Lead Fabricator / Management, etc.</li></ul>Previous professional experience with welding and fabrication is REQUIRED.
