The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient service while ensuring the smooth operation of front office functions. As the first point of contact, this position creates a welcoming and professional environment for patients and supports clinical staff through accurate scheduling, effective communication, and efficient administrative support.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner</li><li>Answer and manage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries appropriately</li><li>Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments</li><li>Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility</li><li>Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments accurately</li><li>Maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system</li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (phone, fax, email)</li><li>Manage patient flow and notify clinical staff of arrivals</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical records requests as needed</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front desk area</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Medical receptionist: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Hanceville, AL 35077 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
