Billing Coordinator &mdash; Job Description About the roleManage billing operations to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and collections while supporting finance and operations teams to maintain clean accounts receivable and strong cash flow.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare, review, and send accurate invoices to customers or clients according to contracts, purchase orders, and service delivery.</li><li>Post payments, reconcile accounts receivable, and apply cash receipts in the accounting system.</li><li>Monitor aging invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and coordinate collections activities.</li><li>Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes by investigating charges, coordinating with sales/operations, and issuing credits or adjustments.</li><li>Maintain customer billing records, master data, and billing schedules; ensure correct billing terms and pricing.</li><li>Process recurring billing, proration, refunds, and contract renewals.</li><li>Support month-end and quarter-end close tasks related to revenue recognition and accounts receivable reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare billing reports, aging analyses, and cash forecasts for finance leadership.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations; assist with audits.</li><li>Collaborate with sales, customer success, product, and collections to improve billing processes and reduce disputes.</li><li>Maintain and improve billing systems and automation (ERP, billing platforms, spreadsheets); participate in system implementations and testing.</li><li>Provide customer-facing support for billing inquiries via email and phone.</li></ul>Required qualifications<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related finance/administrative role.</li><li>Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and strong Excel skills.</li><li>Basic understanding of invoicing, cash application, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable processes.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Good communication and customer-service skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts and deadlines.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications<ul><li>Experience with recurring/SAAS billing platforms (Zuora, Chargify, Recurly) or ERP systems.</li><li>Familiarity with GAAP revenue recognition principles.</li><li>Experience with collections and dispute resolution processes.</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Experience improving billing workflows and implementing automation.</li></ul>Pay: QAR97.35 - QAR312.78 per hourWork Location: In person
