Mission of the RoleTo build scalable systems, lead operational excellence, drive business growth initiatives, improve profitability, strengthen team performance, and reduce founder dependency by creating a high-performing, process-driven organization capable of sustained expansion.The long-term objective is for the Business Operations &amp; Growth Manager to become the central execution leader responsible for ensuring that strategic plans are translated into measurable business results.Key Responsibilities1. Business Operations &amp; Process Excellence (25%)<ul><li>Lead and oversee day-to-day business operations across all departments.</li><li>Ensure seamless coordination between sales, trainers, student services, marketing, and leadership.</li><li>Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and operational systems.</li><li>Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and growth constraints.</li><li>Implement automation, process improvements, and performance tracking systems.</li><li>Build operational infrastructure that supports rapid business growth.</li><li>Reduce operational dependency on the Founder through effective delegation and accountability systems.</li><li>Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor organizational performance.</li></ul>2. Business Growth, Market Research &amp; Expansion (20%)<ul><li>Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis.</li><li>Identify emerging opportunities in language training, EdTech, test preparation, and adjacent education markets.</li><li>Lead feasibility studies for new programs, products, and business verticals.</li><li>Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.</li><li>Develop expansion recommendations supported by market data and financial analysis.</li><li>Support the launch of new products including CELPIP, IELTS, PTE Core, OET, and future educational offerings.</li><li>Identify partnership, licensing, affiliate, and collaboration opportunities.</li><li>Lead business expansion projects from concept through execution.</li></ul>3. Team Leadership &amp; Performance Management (15%)<ul><li>Manage operational staff, coordinators, interns, trainers, and support personnel.</li><li>Establish clear performance expectations and accountability systems.</li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.</li><li>Monitor team productivity and operational effectiveness.</li><li>Foster a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.</li><li>Ensure cross-functional alignment across departments.</li><li>Support leadership succession planning and talent development.</li></ul>4. Student Experience &amp; Retention (10%)<ul><li>Oversee student onboarding, engagement, satisfaction, and retention processes.</li><li>Monitor student success metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Resolve escalated student concerns professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Analyze student feedback and implement corrective actions where required.</li><li>Develop initiatives to improve retention, referrals, and overall student experience.</li><li>Ensure service quality standards are consistently maintained across programs.</li></ul>5. Product Development &amp; Innovation Support (10%)<ul><li>Collaborate with developers, trainers, researchers, and leadership on product initiatives.</li><li>Support development of internal learning systems, assessment platforms, student portals, and educational technology solutions.</li><li>Coordinate product testing, implementation, and launch activities.</li><li>Gather user feedback and recommend product improvements.</li><li>Monitor product adoption and performance metrics.</li></ul>6. Recruitment, Hiring &amp; Talent Acquisition (10%)<ul><li>Lead recruitment initiatives across operational, academic, marketing, and support functions.</li><li>Develop workforce planning strategies aligned with business goals.</li><li>Create job descriptions, hiring plans, and recruitment processes.</li><li>Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support final hiring decisions.</li><li>Build talent pipelines for future organizational growth.</li><li>Improve onboarding, training, and employee integration processes.</li></ul>7.
