<ul><li>Maintain highest level of customer service while monitoring and reacting to ever changing service and patient needs</li><li>Prepare prescriptions according to label provided, while verifying patient and medication information</li><li>Retrieves, counts, pours, weighs, measures, and sometimes mixes medication</li><li>Work closely with pharmacist to safely and accurately dispense medication in vials and blister packaging</li><li>Call physicians and healthcare providers for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes on a prescription order</li><li>Scan and stock shelves with new inventory</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>At least 1-year experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail setting</li><li>Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) is a must</li><li>Previous experience with Micro Merchant System preferable</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
