The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for:<ul><li>
Providing support and expertise with the Human Resources Information System and all Human Resources functions</li><li>
Developing, maintaining and generating reports, developing and maintaining queries and reports for the organization and for state and federal regulatory requirements, benefits, and administrative functions</li><li>
Managing multiple projects independently and collaboratively to accomplish responsibilities, goals, projects and deadlines</li><li>
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers and is a team player with the capability to learn functionality of a variety of databases</li><li>
Assisting with fringe benefit organization and processing as directed</li><li>
Having a high level of computer competency and efficiency</li><li>
Assisting with filing, and other administrative tasks when needed</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of self-motivation.
</li><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
</li><li>Working knowledge of employment laws and human resources practices preferred.
</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent administrative decisions within established guidelines.
</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization.
</li><li>Valid driver's license required.</li></ul></div>

Human Resources Generalist

<div>Location: Boston, MA - Bradston Street, Suffolk County House of Corrections 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm 
Pay rate: $28.85/hour

The Counselor is responsible for:<ul><li>
Providing psychoeducation and evidence-based treatment to offenders (pretrial and sentenced men and women) according to the approved curriculum and completing all required documentation in the case record (OMS).</li><li>
Facilitating 2-3 groups daily, based on current scheduling.
</li><li>Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and complete duties in the allotted time.</li><li>
Arriving for work on time and adheres to the programs attendance policies.
</li><li>Works cooperatively with SCSD personnel to ensure smooth operation and coordination of program.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field required</li><li>
CADC, LADC II or other comparable certification/license or equivalent experience with substance use treatment groups/services preferred.
</li><li>Experience working with justice involved individuals and/or in a correctional setting preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of SUD/MAT population and experience working with justice involved individuals in a correctional setting</li><li>
Staff must be able to pass extensive background check and pass drug screening</li></ul></div>
