Our expanding solutions primarily target the Procure-to-Pay cycle for hospitals with over $500M in patient revenue, with growing traction in the mid-market segment. 
 
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you&rsquo;ll be on that front line driving new business and fueling SpendMend&rsquo;s continued expansion. This is not a &ldquo;dial-and-wait&rdquo; role &ndash; it&rsquo;s for sales hunters who take initiative, love the chase, and can open doors with decision-makers across the C-suite.
Requirements:

 What You Will Do:<ul><li>
Drive outbound prospecting campaigns, generating qualified leads through high-volume calls, emails, and outreach.</li><li>
Simultaneously hunt for new business while nurturing a named (finite) list of large target accounts.</li><li>
Engage with executives at large health systems to uncover needs and position SpendMend&rsquo;s value-driven solutions.</li><li>
Own your pipeline &ndash; identify opportunities, track progress, and partner with senior sales executives to move deals forward.</li><li>
Consistently exceed KPIs for activity, conversion, and meetings booked.</li><li>
Master SpendMend&rsquo;s suite of solutions and confidently speak the language of healthcare finance and procurement.</li></ul>
What You Bring:<ul><li>
Proven success in B2B outbound or inside sales, preferably selling complex or consultative services.</li><li>
Proven history of hitting and exceeding quotas &ndash; you thrive on competition and reward.</li><li>
Strong executive presence and communication skills.</li><li>
Self-driven, organized, and accountable; you don&rsquo;t need micromanagement to deliver results.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred; healthcare experience a plus.</li><li>
Comfortable with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience ideal).</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Knowledge of the healthcare industry</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</li><li>
A good attitude (We have a good, cohesive culture and we work very hard to preserve it. Disruptive personalities will not be tolerated.)</li><li>
A strong work ethic</li><li>
Proven, demonstrable inside sales experience and success</li><li>
Track record of over-achieving quota</li><li>
Ability to manage your own time productively</li><li>
Ability to manage/lead interaction with sales execs and/or SME&rsquo;s. (BDR will need to proactively get on their calendars, set lists, plan activities, etc.)</li><li>
Strong phone presence and experience dialing 75+ calls per day</li><li>
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics (or experience with similar CRM and a strong commitment to learn MS Dynamics and become an expert)</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li><li>
Strong listening and presentation skills</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively</li></ul>
Work Environment: The work environment for this role is primarily remote and home-based but includes frequent phone and video calls, as well as potential travel for client meetings, conferences, or industry events. The role involves regular use of a computer and phone, with occasional extended periods of sitting, typing, or screen time. It also requires active communication and coordination across departments and with prospective clients.
