Unlike a traditional studio focused on a single IP, our company partners with world-renowned developers to bring their most ambitious titles to life.As a Lead you will act as a key pillar of our Props Team, overseeing artistic quality, mentoring talent, and establishing workflows across a diverse portfolio of high-end games. Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Prop Artists, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Ensure all assets meet the specific artistic and technical requirements of our AAA partners, maintaining a &quot;Gold Standard&quot; output.</li>
<li>Pipeline Management: Develop and optimize efficient modeling and texturing workflows (PBR) to meet demanding production schedules.</li>
<li>Project Oversight: Manage the distribution of tasks within the team and ensure deadlines are met across various active projects.</li>
<li>Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Art Directors, Technical Artists, and Project Managers to identify potential risks and solve production bottlenecks.</li>
<li>Documentation: Create and maintain technical briefs, style guides, and best-practice documentation for the props department.</li>
</ul>
Requirements<ul>
<li>
Experience: 5+ years of experience in game art, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Supervisory role.</li>
<li>Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level skill in creating high-quality hard-surface and organic props (please include examples of various styles).</li>
<li>Software Mastery: Expert knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender, as well as ZBrush and the Substance Suite (Painter/Designer).</li>
<li>Engine Proficiency: Deep understanding of Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) or proprietary AAA engines.</li>
<li>Technical Knowledge: Complete mastery of PBR workflows, UV optimization, baking, and LOD management.</li>
<li>Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate artistic feedback clearly.</li>
Adaptability: Proven ability to switch between different art styles and technical constraints without losing quality.
