 Position Details
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hybrid remote position based in&nbsp;
 
 Sarasota, FL
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 One required in-person workday each week
 
 &nbsp;for meetings, training, and collaboration
 </li>
 <li>
 All remaining sessions conducted&nbsp;
 
 virtually from home
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexible scheduling
 </li>
 <li>
 Equipment and paid training provided
 </li>
 <li>
 School-year position with opportunities for continued employment
 </li>
 <li>
 One day a week REQUIRED in person
 </li>
 </ul>

 </li>
 Responsibilities
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide one-on-one and small-group math tutoring for students in&nbsp;
 
 grades K&ndash;12
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Teach a variety of mathematics courses based on your qualifications (MUST be comfortable with Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry)
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver engaging, individualized instruction tailored to each student's learning style
 </li>
 <li>
 Track student progress and maintain session notes
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate professionally with families and SPS Tutor staff
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in weekly in-person meetings and ongoing professional development
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree required (Education, Mathematics, or related field preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Florida teaching certificate preferred (not required for all applicants)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of K&ndash;12 mathematics content
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with students in tutoring or classroom settings
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable teaching in a virtual environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Reliable internet connection and professional home workspace
 </li>
 </ul>
