The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students. The teacher will help students develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in mathematical concepts in alignment with the ICSE curriculum.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the ICSE syllabus.</li><li>Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student understanding.</li><li>Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make mathematics engaging.</li><li>Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.</li><li>Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and support.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.</li><li>Organize and assist with math-related activities, competitions, and exhibitions.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings and training programs.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.</li><li>Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a safe, respectful environment for learning.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Degree in Mathematics or related field.</li><li>Training: B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).</li><li>Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (ICSE/CBSE preferred).</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods.</li><li>Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Familiarity with technology-based teaching tools (smart boards, digital platforms).</li></ul>Work Type: Part-Time Location: Sree Jayam School, Vellore Email for Applications: sjscareers@sreejayamschool.edu.inJob Type: Part-timePay: &#8377;6,000.00 - &#8377;8,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 12 per weekWork Location: In person
