Job Overview Job Title: Power EngineerLocation: Columbia, ALCore Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and oversee electrical power systems (scope, schedules, budgets).</li><li>Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, layouts, and circuitry.</li><li>Ensure compliance with codes, standards, QA, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Provide technical direction to engineers, designers, and drafters.</li><li>Assist with system checkout and startup when needed.</li><li>Communicate effectively across teams and disciplines.</li><li>Make independent decisions with some management consultation.</li><li>Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul>&#9989; Required Skills &amp; Expertise<ul><li>Strong knowledge of engineering design principles (preferably power plant systems).</li><li>Experience in technical direction, design details, drawings, and calculations.</li><li>Ability to schedule and coordinate projects to meet cost and time goals.</li><li>AutoCAD and CAD Overlay experience (plus).</li><li>High initiative; able to plan, organize, and execute work independently.</li><li>Handle large projects at nuclear plants with limited supervision.</li><li>Proficiency in codes, standards, QA, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Ability to build strong relationships with plant staff, design teams, and vendors.</li><li>Familiarity with industry design process (IP-ENG 001) is preferred.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
