Our small class sizes, collaborative culture, and warm atmosphere make St. Sava a truly special place to teach and learn.We are seeking a full-time Third Grade ELA &amp; Social Studies Teacher who will also support schoolwide operations through recess/lunch supervision and provide morning instructional support in upper-elementary math. This role is ideal for someone who values strong relationships, teamwork, and whole-child education.About the Position This full-time role combines classroom instruction with meaningful contributions to the school day that directly support student well-being.Teaching Responsibilities (Afternoons) <ul><li>Teach 3rd Grade English Language Arts</li><li>Teach 3rd Grade Social Studies</li><li>Plan engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote literacy, critical thinking, and classroom discussion</li><li>Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that supports growth</li><li>Build strong, positive partnerships with students and families</li></ul>Recess &amp; Lunch Supervision At St. Sava, we believe outdoor play is essential for healthy development. This role includes:<ul><li>Daily recess and lunch supervision</li><li>Ensuring safety, positive peer interactions, and smooth transitions</li><li>Helping maintain a consistent, predictable routine during these important parts of the day</li></ul>Morning Instructional Support (Grades 4 &amp; 5 Math) <ul><li>Support small groups and individual students during math instruction</li><li>Work collaboratively with our upper-elementary math teacher</li><li>Reinforce foundational skills and help students build confidence</li></ul>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For We are looking for a warm, organized, mission-aligned educator who brings both skill and heart to their work.
