1. PRIMARY PURPOSE - The Supported Work &amp; Second Chance Program coordinator helps clients get back into the work force, access permanent housing and gain stability.2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Supported Work:Process and update participants&rsquo; attendance weekly, including timely data entry to TRACS through DHS.Communicate with Family Coaches and hiring managers.Provide orientations, sets up, and manages all participants&rsquo; work schedules and changes.Perform site visits to update hours and goals, and in collaborating with store managers.Assist in updating resumes and cover letters and writes letters of recommendation.Work to continue adding Worksites to promote growth within the program.Second Chance:Facilitate 33 weekly classes per year.Update and develop curriculum.Advocate for participants.Work with participants to assign homework and set goals to achieve housing.Collaborate with community partners to teach tenant rights and responsibilities.Promote client growth and expertise in renter&rsquo;s education.Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -&middot; Experience working with diverse populations.&middot; Knowledge of social service systems.&middot; Knowledge of the mental, emotional, and physical impacts of trauma.&middot; Active listening skills and ability to acquire information in healthy ways and help problem solve sensitive issues non-judgmentally.&middot; Experience maintaining client confidentiality and a professional code of ethics.&middot; Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and empathetically with clients, partners, and other service providers.&middot; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, WellSky, email platforms).&middot; Willingness to work collaboratively with others in a supportive manner.&middot; Bi-lingual a plus.Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Social Services Systems: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>working with diverse populations: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Facilitating training : 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Developing curriculum: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Renters' education: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Supported Work & Second Chance Program Coordinator

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE -This position is responsible for the welfare, safety and oversight of individuals at the safe-sleep shelter locations provided by the HSS department. This position could be assigned to work day shift, swing shift or graveyard shift and could be assigned to the 410 or D2D sites. Cross training to cover multiple sites is required.Swing shift: 3:30pm-12am Graveyard: 12am-8:30am2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -<ul><li>Ensure the safety of program participants by monitoring activity.</li><li>Effectively communicate and respectfully enforce program rules and policies.</li><li>Monitor activities and complete assigned walk-throughs each shift.</li><li>Complete data entry using the Lane County&rsquo;s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).</li><li>Collaborate with case management staff as needed.</li><li>Ensure client confidentiality is maintained.</li><li>Oversee cleanup of shelter spaces.</li><li>De-escalate any potential or actual conflicts with clients while upholding the vision and mission of the organization.</li><li>Foster and maintain a health culture of respect, empowerment and community.</li><li>Attend required meetings and training.</li></ul>3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - <ul><li>Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.</li></ul>4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -<ul><li>Previous experience working with individuals in crisis or at risk due to stressful life circumstances preferred.</li><li>Ability to stay calm in the face of crisis and knowledge of de-escalation techniques.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule and stay awake at all times during working hours.</li><li>Nonjudgemental approach to a wide range of individuals and lifestyles.
