The company recently renovated its facility and secured major new contracts in the Military, Aerospace, and Marine industries, creating strong long-term stability and opportunity.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning technical drawings into real-world projects while working closely with engineers, project managers, and skilled welders.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review CAD and SolidWorks drawings and technical specifications to generate cost estimates for welding and sheet metal fabrication projects</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, project managers, and lead welders to align project scope, materials, and production schedules</li><li>Prepare customer proposals and quotes including labor, materials, overhead, and lead times</li><li>Refine estimates and troubleshoot project details within the ERP system (JobBOSS)</li><li>Support project planning to help ensure projects run efficiently and on schedule</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of estimating or project management experience in a fabrication or welding environment</li><li>Strong understanding of shop math, measurements, and fabrication layout</li><li>Ability to read and interpret CAD or SolidWorks drawings (preferred)</li><li>Experience with ERP systems, preferably JobBOSS</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li><li>Strong communication skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects independently</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>Associates Degree Preferred or equivalent experience</li><li>3+ years estimating welding or metal fabrication projects preferred</li></ul>Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>How many years experience do you have Estimating jobs in a Fabrication and Welding environment?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
