The company recently renovated its facility and secured major new contracts in the Military, Aerospace, and Marine industries, creating strong long-term stability and opportunity.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning technical drawings into real-world projects while working closely with engineers, project managers, and skilled welders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review CAD and SolidWorks drawings and technical specifications to generate cost estimates for welding and sheet metal fabrication projects
• Collaborate with engineering, project managers, and lead welders to align project scope, materials, and production schedules
• Prepare customer proposals and quotes including labor, materials, overhead, and lead times
• Refine estimates and troubleshoot project details within the ERP system (JobBOSS)
• Support project planning to help ensure projects run efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating or project management experience in a fabrication or welding environment
• Strong understanding of shop math, measurements, and fabrication layout
• Ability to read and interpret CAD or SolidWorks drawings (preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JobBOSS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Education & Experience

• Associates Degree Preferred or equivalent experience
• 3+ years estimating welding or metal fabrication projects preferred

Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour
