Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages, particularly children. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to achieve their musical goals.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level and learning style.</li><li>Teach guitar techniques, music theory, and performance skills in a structured yet creative manner.</li><li>Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.</li><li>Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical abilities.</li><li>Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and build confidence.</li><li>Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns or questions.</li><li>Stay updated on current teaching methods, curriculum development, and educational resources.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in teaching music, specifically guitar, to children or students in various age groups.</li><li>Background in childhood education is preferred; experience in classroom settings is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development related to music education.</li><li>Ability to teach bass or ukulele considered an asset.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students and parents alike.</li><li>A passion for educating young minds and nurturing their love for music.</li></ul>Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians through inspiring guitar instruction!Job Type: Part-timePay: $36.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 &ndash; 20 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Work Location: In person
