Every successful start-up you lead increases uptime, quality, and safety for manufacturers. You&rsquo;ll travel throughout the Northeast&mdash;often with multi-night stays&mdash;and at times across North America, equipped with company-provided tools and a vehicle. You&rsquo;ll interpret blueprints and schematics, validate tolerances, and train teams so they can run with confidence.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Core responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>
Install and start up company-manufactured unloading equipment and custom automation to spec.</li><li>
Verify erection/installation against guidelines; ensure mechanical/electrical tolerances are met.</li><li>
Diagnose and correct electrical/mechanical issues; test, adjust, and confirm performance.</li><li>
Use gauges, meters, and other test gear to validate against specifications.</li><li>
Provide remote support (phone/email); document issues and collaborate internally to resolve product concerns.</li><li>
Deliver operator and maintenance training for customer employees.</li><li>
Complete all documentation, service reports, and records.</li><li>
Confirm installation acceptance to activate warranties.</li><li>
Handle additional duties and special assignments as needed.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What sets you up for success</b></h2><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED; 3&ndash;5 years of technical field service/automation/robotics experience.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record; relevant certifications are a plus.</li><li>
Ability to don PPE such as safety glasses and steel-toed footwear when required.</li><li>
Read/interpret blueprints, specs, warranties, standards, and O&amp;M manuals; write clear reports; communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.</li><li>
Math skills across whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.</li><li>
Comfort solving practical problems with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.</li><li>
Operate hand/power tools and electronic testing equipment; work from blueprints/schematics; travel frequently, including occasional international trips.</li><li>
Use standard office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier).</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
