We are offering a hands-on Medical Assistant Internship designed for students and recent graduates pursuing degrees in medical assisting, pre-nursing, health sciences, or related fields. This internship provides practical experience in a medical spa setting and is eligible for college credit through approved academic programs. You&rsquo;ll work closely with licensed professionals, observe clinical procedures, and develop skills relevant to both clinical and front-office roles. The main responsibility of the intern will be helping as our medical receptionist. Duration of internship 3-6 monthsKey Learning Opportunities:<ul><li>Assist in preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical hygiene standards</li><li>Support providers during non-invasive treatments (observation only where appropriate)</li><li>Learn how to take client vitals and complete intake forms under supervision</li><li>Observe and understand treatment protocols for skincare, laser, and injectables</li><li>Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and client communication</li><li>Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance industry knowledge</li><li>Understand HIPAA regulations and proper documentation practices</li><li>Main responsibilities will be to assist with medical reception as the receptionist</li></ul>Eligibility &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Medical Assistant, Nursing, or Health Sciences program</li><li>Strong interest in medical aesthetics or dermatology preferred</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Professional appearance and commitment to client confidentiality</li><li>Availability to commit 20+ hours per week for the duration of the internship</li><li>CPR/BLS certification is a plus but not required</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Gain:<ul><li>College credit (pending school approval)</li><li>Exposure to medical aesthetics in a real-world setting</li><li>Supervision and mentorship from experienced clinical staff</li><li>Insight into client care, safety protocols, and business operations</li><li>A potential reference letter or future employment opportunity</li><li>Stipend may be provided bi-weekly</li></ul>To Apply: Submit your resume, a short cover letter, and school internship coordinator&rsquo;s contact (if applicable).
