Medical Assistant Intern

We are offering a hands-on Medical Assistant Internship designed for students and recent graduates pursuing degrees in medical assisting, pre-nursing, health sciences, or related fields. This internship provides practical experience in a medical spa setting and is eligible for college credit through approved academic programs. You’ll work closely with licensed professionals, observe clinical procedures, and develop skills relevant to both clinical and front-office roles. The main responsibility of the intern will be helping as our medical receptionist. Duration of internship 3-6 months

Key Learning Opportunities:

• Assist in preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical hygiene standards
• Support providers during non-invasive treatments (observation only where appropriate)
• Learn how to take client vitals and complete intake forms under supervision
• Observe and understand treatment protocols for skincare, laser, and injectables
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and client communication
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance industry knowledge
• Understand HIPAA regulations and proper documentation practices
• Main responsibilities will be to assist with medical reception as the receptionist

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Medical Assistant, Nursing, or Health Sciences program
• Strong interest in medical aesthetics or dermatology preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and commitment to client confidentiality
• Availability to commit 20+ hours per week for the duration of the internship
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus but not required
