Position Summary The Accounts Payable / Receivable Lead is responsible for overseeing daily and monthly AP/AR operations, ensuring accurate expense allocation, effective management of vendor and customer accounts, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with strong communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities. The position plays a key leadership role across several operational and financial functions within the company.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable<ul><li>Review and audit monthly vendor statements</li><li>Prepare and process vendor payments</li><li>Ensure accurate allocation of COGS and expenses</li><li>Manage tax-exempt certificates and adjustments</li><li>Upload batches to Positive Pay and review daily exceptions</li><li>Process end-of-month utility payments</li><li>Follow up with vendors to resolve discrepancies</li><li>Track credits for returned products</li><li>Audit and monitor house accounts</li><li>Oversee tool purchases and accurate recording</li></ul>Accounts Receivable<ul><li>Contact AR accounts and follow up as needed</li><li>Review and distribute monthly AR statements</li><li>Manage collections and bad debt resolution</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR records</li></ul>General<ul><li>Support vehicle maintenance recording, purchases, repairs</li><li>Payroll data entry and sorting</li><li>PTO monitoring, recording, and reporting</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)</li><li>Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or bookkeeping</li><li>Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data</li></ul>Benefits:Full Benefits PackagePaid Holidays and Vacation Time upon hire.Full TimePay to Commensurate with ExperienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 1 year (Required)</li><li>QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
