This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately</li><li>Administer medications and follow care plans under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy</li><li>Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs to promote healthy living</li><li>Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control protocols</li><li>Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each individual&rsquo;s needs</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred</li><li>Hands-on experience with patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required</li><li>Knowledge of dementia care, memory care techniques, Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, and hospice care practices highly desirable</li><li>Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is a plus</li><li>Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or nursing assistant credentials are advantageous</li><li>Experience handling heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or similar devices preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with diverse populations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism</li><li>Bilingual Spanish and English</li></ul>Join us as a Service Provider to empower individuals through dedicated care that enhances their quality of life.
