Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery.</li><li>Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.</li><li>Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.</li><li>Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.</li><li>Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.</li><li>Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.</li><li>Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.</li><li>Develop and manage budgets while monitoring financial performance to achieve business goals.</li><li>Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.</li><li>Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on quick service &amp; fast food or casual dining environments.</li><li>Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, preparation, and handling techniques.</li><li>Excellent leadership abilities with experience in training &amp; development of staff.</li><li>Proficient in inventory management and budgeting practices.</li><li>Background in hospitality management with a keen understanding of customer service excellence.</li><li>Experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing food safety protocols.</li><li>Familiarity with barista or coffee service is a plus, along with banquet or catering experience.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
