Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery.
  • Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.
  • Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
  • Develop and manage budgets while monitoring financial performance to achieve business goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
  • Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, preparation, and handling techniques.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in training & development of staff.
  • Proficient in inventory management and budgeting practices.
  • Background in hospitality management with a keen understanding of customer service excellence.
  • Experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing food safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with barista or coffee service is a plus, along with banquet or catering experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
